Structural Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

So, a long time ago, I promised myself that I wouldn\u2019t get into the Jeffrey Epstein stuff.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s too salacious, and too irrelevant to the real damage Trump is doing to our Nation, to spend much time on.\u00a0\u00a0But, from my standpoint, you\u2019ve got to love the imbroglio Trump\u2019s henchmen find themselves in now.\u00a0\u00a0They promised for years to reveal the \u201cEpstein Files\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0They dangled names of Trump opponents like Bill Clinton as \u201cclick-bait\u201d to build their careers; podcast flame-throwers like Dan Bongino, Alex Jones, and Charlie Kirk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cEpstein rumors\u201d fit nicely into the \u201cstructural scheme\u201d of the founding ideology of the far-right QAnon group.  They always \u201cknew\u201d there was pedophilia going on among those \u201celite\u201d Democrats.  If the kids weren\u2019t in the basement of that pizza shop in Washington, then maybe there were all on Epstein\u2019s island.  And, \u201cof course\u201d, that\u2019s where the \u201cadrenochrome\u201d came from, the magic elixir made from the \u201cstolen blood harvested from youth\u201d.  This all goes farther back then QAnon.  It\u2019s part of the  ancient anti-Semitic tropes, pivoted to attack Democrats and liberals.  Epstein was Jewish, so that all balances out nicely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promises Made<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Finally we would find it all out, now that Trump was President, and Bondi Attorney General, and Patel Director of the FBI, and Bongino himself now an FBI Assistant Director.\u00a0\u00a0Trump, Bondi, Patel, Bongino all promised to reveal the \u201cthe truth\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0That is — until they didn\u2019t.\u00a0\u00a0On the Saturday evening of the Fourth of July holiday (when they hoped no one was listening); The Department of Justice issued an\u00a0unsigned memo<\/a>, saying, essentially, \u201cnever mind\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0There is no list, there\u2019s no coverup or conspiracy of silence.\u00a0\u00a0As Obi Won Kenobi says: \u201cThere\u2019s no droids to see here, move along, move along\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know that\u2019s not true either.\u00a0\u00a0There has to be a file as long as my arm on Epstein.\u00a0\u00a0Interviews, tapes, evidence gathered (like the plane passenger log).\u00a0\u00a0And then there\u2019s Ghislaine Maxwell, the literal keeper of whatever list there is, still alive.\u00a0\u00a0She\u2019s a \u201cguest\u201d of the Federal government, the Justice Department the Trump cohort controls, for the next twenty years.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0She\u2019s even in an honors dorm in Tallahassee Federal Prison, with a near-private room (Tallahassee Democrat<\/a>).\u00a0\u00a0Why isn\u2019t Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, making a \u201cdeal\u201d with Maxwell, say a year off for every ten names.\u00a0\u00a0It just seems so logical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known, Knowns<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a list of names, of those who trifled with under-age women provided by Jeffrey Epstein.  The FBI had to compile one to have a case, first against him, then against Maxwell.  We even know some names on it:  like Prince Andrew the son of Queen Elizabeth, and Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Professor and attorney to Donald Trump.  Of course, Dershowitz claimed he \u201conly\u201d got down to his underwear.  No private parts (or under-aged parties) involved with him; just an \u201cold Russian woman\u201d he told us (Above the Law<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bondi is treating all Americans, but particularly her fans in MAGA-world, like they are stupid.  Trump is letting her do it. And there\u2019s only one logical reason that I can think of for the \u201cObi-Won treatment\u201d.  Somebody\u2019s name is on that \u201clist\u201d, a named participant; that Trump doesn\u2019t want released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kompromat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now you can infer anything you want.\u00a0\u00a0Is Trump on the list?\u00a0\u00a0Maybe, though I think he\u2019s smarter than to get drawn into underage kids.\u00a0\u00a0But think of the great \u201ckompromat\u201d (compromising material) the investigative report is to whoever has control of it.\u00a0\u00a0The \u201c302\u2019s\u201d, those written reports by FBI agents, would rival the legendary J. Edgar Hoover files that kept him as Director of the FBI for forty-seven years.\u00a0\u00a0No one knew what Hoover knew.\u00a0\u00a0The inferred power of that information protected his directorship through eight different Presidencies.\u00a0\u00a0Only death itself could remove him from office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Biden (or Kamala Harris) never promised us Epstein\u2019s files, or who killed President Kennedy, or what\u2019s going on at Area 51.  But Trump did.  And while there probably is nothing new about the assassination, and Area 51 really needs to remain secret, clearly there is stuff about Epstein.  I don\u2019t personally care about it:  any charges against \u201cparticipants\u201d are far past the statute of limitations.  But  I do think it\u2019s interesting that the \u201cTrump folks\u201d have now decided to pretend there\u2019s nothing to see here.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
