Two children and two teachers are dead.\u00a0\u00a0Nine more are in the hospital.\u00a0\u00a0A fourteen year-old with an AR \u201cstyle\u201d weapon is the cause.\u00a0\u00a0Sure, our hearts are with them, the students and faculty and administration of Appalachee High School. They are “just” another high school that now is \u201con the list\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0But there\u2019s little more to say.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We, the people of the United States,<\/strong><\/em> have made a choice.\u00a0\u00a0We could choose to make changes, to make a difference, to protect our children and our people. Instead, we choose to be helpless.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
