They Don\u2019t Work.\u00a0 <\/span>They don\u2019t work:\u00a0 <\/span>background checks to purchase a gun.\u00a0 <\/span>They don\u2019t work:\u00a0 <\/span>bans on types of weapons, bans on high capacity magazines, bans on kinds bullets.\u00a0 <\/span>We are told over and over again, they don\u2019t work.\u00a0 <\/span>We are told this by the National Rifle Association, we are told by the President, we are told by an idiot Congressman from Kentucky, we are told by our \u201cfriends\u201d on Facebook.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n In fact, the only thing they say can work is to fill our lives with guns.\u00a0 <\/span>If we all were \u201cstrapped\u201d we could then protect ourselves, just like the good old \u201cwild, wild West.\u201d<\/p>\n By the way, even in Dodge City, you had to remove your firearm before entering the saloon; doesn\u2019t that make it a gun-free zone?<\/p>\n This macho, carry your gun and defend the weak \u201cliberals\u201d view is really a helpless view of the world.\u00a0 <\/span>It says: \u00a0<\/span>our society can\u2019t be changed, and so we just need to go with it and get ready to shoot more people.\u00a0 <\/span>There is nothing our government can do to protect us, it\u2019s up to us (or more specifically, US with the gun!!)<\/p>\n Is it too \u201cliberal\u201d or \u00a0<\/span>too \u201cDemocrat\u201d to believe our government can solve problems?\u00a0 <\/span>Is it too \u201cprogressive\u201d to think that we can\u2019t find a way to protect our children besides flooding our world with more guns?\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>My God, some are even fighting fixing background checks for weapons, because that\u2019s the first step to \u201ctaking our arms!\u201d Facebook claims that all recent mass killers were Democrats:\u00a0 <\/span>all that does is push everyone into their corner.\u00a0 <\/span>Is that the NRA or the Russians \u2013 or both?<\/p>\n It is clear that when we have a national will to do something, we can get it done.\u00a0 <\/span>Whether it\u2019s fighting World War II, or changing our culture about civil rights, clearly, We Shall Overcome!!!!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
