Unified Theory – in particle physics, an attempt to describe all fundamental forces and the relationships between elementary particles in terms of a single <\/em>theoretical<\/em> framework.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Too Much Happening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Day to day it\u2019s hard to keep track of what\u2019s going on.  Just Wednesday, President Trump declared \u201cvictory\u201d in Syria saying that the United States was responsible for \u201cthe peace\u201d (don\u2019t tell Erdogan and Putin.)  Meanwhile, The House Intelligence Committee continued to gather evidence that Trump himself extorted  2020 campaign help from Ukraine, and the \u201cFreedom Caucus\u201d marched into the hearing room to disrupt the proceedings.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Democrats in the House of Representatives are investigating a single facet of President Trump\u2019s behavior as impeachable, there seems to be so much more going on.  And as much as the President wished it were so, the \u201cold news\u201d of the Mueller Report has never been resolved.  All of this seems like so much random stuff; no wonder the American people feel overwhelmed, and unwilling to absorb it all.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Syria, Ukraine, hacking into America\u2019s elections, Trump\u2019s Impeachment:\u00a0\u00a0all of these events ultimately orbit around a single force.\u00a0\u00a0The center of our political and global universe seems to be one man.\u00a0\u00a0And it\u2019s not Donald Trump, though he plays a significant role in a lot of it.\u00a0\u00a0The center of our current political universe, the unifying theory of everything, is the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mueller Report<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We know Russia hacked our elections.  The Mueller Report and the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee Report demonstrate in intricate detail how the Internet Research Agency (IRA) in St. Petersburg and Russian Military Intelligence (GRU) broke into the Democratic National Committee servers, stole emails, and fed them to Wikileaks.  We also know that the IRA used social media, most notably Facebook and Twitter, to manipulate the American electorate.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Media<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

And we know that Cambridge Analytica, working on behalf of the Trump Administration and with their own connections to Russia, was manipulating social media as well.  And for those who haughtily claim that \u201c\u2026Facebook didn\u2019t change my vote,\u201d there is this question.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The disinformation on Facebook and Twitter was endemic, and divisive.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Even if you never looked at it, how do you know that the people that do influence your vote, or the folks you heard on other media, weren\u2019t influenced?\u00a0\u00a0The drumbeat against Hillary Clinton, from emails, to her health, to \u201cscrewing\u201d Bernie Sanders, all had a grain of truth.\u00a0\u00a0But it was all amplified to \u201c11\u201d by the IRA, the Trump campaign and Cambridge Analytica.\u00a0\u00a0All three played off each other, copying and reposting the same explosive memes and statements.\u00a0\u00a0It was an automated and effective operation, giving each a plausible deniability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firtash<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

And we also know that a close Putin ally, Russian oligarch, Dimitry Firtash, has his hands in several facets of the Trump world.\u00a0\u00a0He employed Paul Manafort in Ukraine, and ultimately Manafort owed him millions.\u00a0\u00a0Manafort worked for the Trump campaign \u201cfor free,\u201d but he tried to parlay his efforts into payments for Firtash.\u00a0\u00a0After the Federal charges were made against Manafort, he employed high priced lawyers, even though all of his funds were confiscated.\u00a0\u00a0It seems likely that Firtash paid those bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Firtash\u2019s money is behind the \u201cCrowdStrike\u201d conspiracy, claiming that it wasn\u2019t Russians but Ukrainians who hacked the DNC servers.\u00a0\u00a0And it\u2019s also his money that financed Rudy Guiliani\u2019s search for \u201cproof\u201d of \u201cCrowdStrike\u201d and the Biden\u2019s \u201ccorruption\u201d in Ukraine.\u00a0\u00a0He used two Russian\/Ukrainian linked Americans, Parnas and Fruman to aid in the effort. They are now under indictment in the United States.\u00a0\u00a0Their real mission, along with Giuliani, was to convince Ukrainian officials to back the false narratives.\u00a0\u00a0It is likely Firtash\u2019s money would pay for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
