Dealing with Low Lifes<\/p>\n
Jerome Corsi; conspiracy theorist, father of \u201cBirthism\u201d and \u201cSwift Boating,\u201d and author of two inaccurate best selling books about the unfitness of John Kerry and Barack Obama; is now cooperating with Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.\u00a0 Corsi, a friend of Trump advisor Roger Stone, may be the contact between Julian Assange of Wikileaks and Stone.<\/p>\n
Roger Stone is a shadowy Republican operative with a picture of Nixon tattooed to his back (really.)\u00a0 As a young man in his twenties, Stone was drawn into the \u201cRat-F\u2014kers,\u201d the dirty tricksters of the Nixon campaign.\u00a0 They did whatever was necessary to disrupt Nixon\u2019s opponents, most famously faking the \u201cCanuck Letter,\u201d a letter that led to Democratic Senator Ed Muskie\u2019s withdrawal from the 1972 Presidential election.\u00a0 Stone then went on to become a \u201cpolitical consultant,\u201d working with future Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort on international campaigns for autocrats throughout the eighties and nineties.<\/p>\n
Stone lived in a shady world on the edge of the Republican Party.\u00a0 He was looked upon as a \u201cNixon Freak\u201d who backed dictators for cash, but when the dirty work needed to be done, he was called in.\u00a0 One of the more recent examples was in the contested 2000 Presidential election in Florida.\u00a0 When the Bush campaign needed protestors to disrupt the recount in Palm Beach County, Stone delivered the \u201cBrook Brothers Riot,\u201d temporarily stopping the count and giving the Bush team more time to get to the courts where they eventually \u201cwon\u201d the election.<\/p>\n
Stone, Corsi, radio commentator Randy Credico and Sam Nunberg, a lawyer and Stone acolyte; all are an unlikely group to link the Trump Campaign to Russian Intelligence.\u00a0They seem to be from the \u201cisle of misfit toys,\u201d odd, often incoherent, and easy to ignore.\u00a0 How could these almost laughable stereotypes connect the President of the United States to near treasonous actions?<\/p>\n
Donald Trump lived in his own shady world, the world of high stakes real estate, urban construction and casinos. Throughout most of his career he depended on a lawyer to \u201cfix\u201d his problems.\u00a0\u00a0 Payoffs, deals, promises made and broken, were all part of the \u201cfixer\u2019s\u201d role.\u00a0Trump had one of the best, Roy Cohn, made famous for being the legal counsel to Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1950\u2019s.\u00a0 After McCarthy was disgraced, Cohn moved to New York, did the \u201cdirty work\u201d of the Republican Party, and gaining a reputation as a \u201cfirst class fixer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cohn introduced Stone to Trump, and Stone became the political force behind Trump\u2019s interest in running for President.\u00a0 Stone claims that he got Trump to run, then stepped away to take an \u201cinformal\u201d role in the campaign.\u00a0 What he did best was best not part of the campaign structure.<\/p>\n
It was Stone who couldn\u2019t resist predicting the release of the DNC emails in August.\u00a0 And it was Stone who prophesized Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta\u2019s \u201ctime in the barrel\u201d before Podesta\u2019s emails were released on October 6th<\/sup>, 2016, to counter the impact of the Access Hollywood tape.\u00a0 He knew that the emails were coming, and he knew when it was going to happen.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s how the line is drawn.\u00a0 Stone was connected to the Trump Campaign.\u00a0 Corsi was connected to Assange and Wikileaks.\u00a0 Assange was connected to Russian Intelligence.\u00a0 If Corsi testifies that he was in communication with both Assange and Stone, he becomes \u201cthe dot\u201d connecting Russian Intelligence to the Trump Campaign.\u00a0 If Mueller has evidence showing Stone\u2019s direct connection to the top of the campaign, then Corsi may well be the key to proving conspiracy against the United States (or what the President would call collusion.)<\/p>\n In the Watergate crisis, FBI Assistant Director Mark Felt, the \u201cDeep Throat\u201d informant to Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward, warned Woodward not to think too highly of those in the White House.<\/p>\n \u201cForget the myths the media\u2019s created about the White House.\u00a0The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n If treason was committed, we visualize it as being done by brilliantly flawed individuals, clearly willing to give up their country for money or power.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard enough to accept the possibility that any American would be treasonous, it\u2019s even harder to believe that it was this group of oddball misfits that did it.\u00a0 And it\u2019s even more incredible that they were successful, electing a President of the United States.<\/p>\n Special Prosecutor Mueller has a problem.\u00a0 Guys like Corsi, Credico, and Nunberg are not convincing witnesses; they are men who have spent a lot of time spreading falsehoods.\u00a0 There credibility is easily attacked.\u00a0 But the whole affair is filled with lowlifes, from Manafort to Gates, from Cohn to Stone, and there isn\u2019t a person of \u201cshining honor\u201d among them.\u00a0 They are the misfits who won the election.\u00a0 That makes them the only ones who can testify to treason.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
